Climate Change is invisible and intangible, and its presence is pervading our daily lives. Art, in any shape or form, helps sensing the transformative climate and focusing on a proactive attitude to face the changing environment. On behalf of the San Diego Climate Book & Game Club, a presentation on Climate Art was given to a small class of poetry students in SD Mesa College, whose teacher is Scott Starbuck, a writer and climate activist. His work can be seen at his personal blog – Trees, Fish and Dreams.
During the presentation, climate museum, exhibitions, installations, board games and digital games, poems, photography and painting was shown and discussed. The presentation was given on December 6th, at room 113SB, SD Mesa College, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
The presentation can be seen here.
